Cam's first hospital stay

Today we went to the pediatrician for some circulation issues that Camden has been having. He has been turning all mottled and purple on his arms, hands, legs, feet, and chest. The pediatrician thought that this was abnormal so she sent us to Childrens Mercy South Hospital to be admitted. She wanted him to be seen by a cardiologist and to be placed on monitors. And YES -I was freakin out!!

They did a chest xray, EKG, and echocardiogram. In the end all of them came back normal- Thank Goodness! The docs said that he just has an increased vasoconstriction response- so he's just a super sensitive guy. The tiniest change in temp or breeze of cool air can make him do this. It is something that he should grow out of.
We are so happy that our little man is healthy and happy.


It's so good to be home after a long overnight stay at the hospital- And yes those are my feet by my mouth- I love to try to chew on them- who needs yoga when you can do this.

Thumb Sucker

Our little man is officially a thumb sucker- (just like his dad was :) )
I have tried everything to get him to not suck his thumb, but he loves that thing- it's like a magnet to his mouth. I can still hope that it won't last very long.

Tummy Time

I'm not the biggest fan of tummy time and especially when mom is trying to get me to roll over. She's afraid she's going to miss it or something- so she has me practicing on her days off.


This is really hard work- I don't understand why I have to practice...


Mybe I'll try to crawl to get those toys first

Baptism

Today was Camden's BIG day! He got baptized at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Lawrence (Justin's church he went to growing up). It was such a great day! It was so good to see all of the family- I think Cam was a little overwhelmed with all the family- alot of faces he hadn't seen in awhile. He showed us that he has a pouty lip-it was super cute :)
Camden loved going to church- all the singing put him right to sleep. Then he was happy as could be for his baptism- he didn't even cry.
