Asking for your Prayers

Hi everyone-
I know we haven't updated my blog lately, but mom and dad have been very busy lately. Grandma and Grandpa Weigel are both in the hospital in the Intensive Care Unit in Lawrence with pneumonia and severe infection. I would love it if everyone could put them in your prayers so they could come home to play with me. They have been in the hospital since Friday and are now both doing better. Grandma might get to come home in 4 days or so and then hopefully Grandpa shortly to follow. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers.

My 1st time eating Cereal

I've been wondering when mom and dad were going to let me sit at the big table and eat from a spoon- I loved it!

My Swing

For Easter I got a swing that hangs from our deck. Daddy hung it up for me today since the weather is finally getting nicer. I haven't gotten to be outside much b/c of the awesome KS weather- so it was really fun to play outside- everytime Mommy would push me I would giggle- something about swinging seemed to be pretty funny.


I'm such a BIG boy





Just had to taste this thing and make sure it was alright....it's all good

Like my Mohawk- even though I don't have much hair I still think it looks pretty cool. Dad loves it.

I got my 2nd tooth!

OK So I won't tell you about every single tooth I get, but mom really thinks that everyone should know that I got my 2nd tooth. I'm sooo advanced to be 5 months old and already have 2 teeth. Mommy and Daddy are so proud!

Easter

We all went to Grandma and Grandpa Weigels for Easter. It was great to see everyone again. I finally got to meet my cousin Jake (he makes me laugh).
The Easter Bunny brought me some really cool toys- they light up, sing, and play music- so now I don't have to listen to mommy sing all the time. Hope everybody had a Great Easter too!

I also got to go and see my friends Riley and Hayley. Here's a pic of us- they are twins and keep in mind that they are 2 months older than me- I still seem to be bigger than them.






And yes I have googoo eyes for Hayley- I only go for older women

My 1st trip to Salina

Mommy and I went to Salina over the weekend- It was my first long road trip and my first trip to Salina. I had so so much fun! I got see Grandma and Grandpa Lovett, my cousins, and alot of other friends and family.




First stop was my Uncle Tim and Aunt Jenny's house to play with the cousins- it was awesome! They gave me this wonderful new toy- My Jumparoo- I love this thing!! Why didn't I have one of these thing sooner? I can spend forever jumping up and down and up and down- I have super duper strong legs. My cousins loved to watch me- Kaylee is my oldest cousin, Annabell is the middle child- hiding in the back b/c she thinks my mom is camera crazy too, and Elizabeth is the youngest in the front- she keeps calling me baby- I think she thinks that is my name- oh well.

This is my cousin Annie- see her sunburn....i know how can you miss it (sorry Annie) the whole time I spent with her all I wanted to do was try to eat it- something about the bright red just got me. I love her!



After a long day it was time for a nap and my other cousin Jessica had the special touch that I needed- thanks Jessica- remember anytime you want to come to KC you are more than welcome :)

I got my 1st tooth!!

Yep it finally happened everyone- I'm officially a BIG boy now- I got my first tooth.
I'm pretty excited, mommy is a little nervous- something about me maybe biting her when I eat- I don't know what that's all about. I've been a little cranky the past couple days, but I also have a stuffy nose, so mom and dad just thought it was because of my nose- but finally the little tooth just poked its way thru my gums.




I love to chew on my cold teething ring- it feels good



You know my mom she has to take a picture of everything, so here is my tooth- it's on my bottom right side- if you can't see I understand- mom was just really excited to share this with everyone.

Just a Monday

It's just a normal Monday hanging out at home with mom- I love these days!
But man she has that camera in her hands ALL the time.

My Friend Ethan

Mom and I went and had lunch with her friend Ashley and my friend Ethan Stroud-we had a good time. Ethan is 6 weeks old now- I can't wait until he's older- ok until we are both older so we can really play together and not just go shopping with our moms.




He's almost as big as I am- I had to check him out at first to make sure that he was ok- He has my approval- (he's a jayhawk too)
