Decorating the Christmas Tree

Tonight Mom, Dad, & I decorated our Christmas Tree- Ok they decorated and I un-decorated the tree. I wasn't interested in putting lights on the tree or even ornaments, but once they were hanging on the tree I wanted to play with them. Some of the ornaments, well they looked like my ball toys- so I thought I could just grab them and go play, but I guess not. Here are some pics- Enjoy!

At first I didn't care about decorating the tree- I was having fun with my Frosty and dog that would sing to me.


Then I noticed the shiny round things hanging on the tree.

I'm pretty excited about this Santa guy- I hear he brings you lots of presents.

Oh Christmas Tree

Today we went to a Christmas Tree Farm- I had so much fun! There were rows and rows of Christmas Trees to pick from (and for me to play under), a hay bale fort for me to play on, and we got to go on a hay rack ride that was pulled by a tractor.

Are you wondering why I'm wearing a KU sweatshirt to a Christmas Tree Farm- well they played MU that afternoon- lets just leave it at that- I had my KU spirit and my Christmas spirit with my Santa hat.

Dunk & Score

Check out my new bath tub toy that my friends Chirag and Mindi got me for my Bday- it's a Rub a Dub Dunk and Score basketball goal! It's pretty amazing and just my size- I can actually slam dunk while sitting in the tub. Check out these pics- I will now be practicing to become a KU bball player while taking a bath too. :)

Mommys little man

I was just hanging out with mom today and she got a little video of me walking from the coffee table to the chair- check me out! OMG is that Baby Einstein on TV!!!

Utensils??

Well I'm giving utensils a shoot, but I still think that my hands do a much better job.

This is alot harder than it looks here (Dads my helper of actually getting food onto the spoon)

This one made into my mouth (not sure if there was any food on it or not, but I'm learning)

OK I don't need that spoon- I'll just hold it to look cool- I'll eat like a man....with my hands :)

Well as we can all see I'm not following my Daddys footsteps when it comes to hair :)(I love you Dad)
Today I went to the doctor for my 1 year checkup and I'm looking good-of course. I'm weighing in at 21.5 pounds (30th%) and now in the 85th% for my height. I had to get some shots today (and they were awful) and then after I thought the bad stuff was over and mom consoled me- they had to stick me again to draw blood work- let me tell you I was ready to get out of that place. No pics of the bad stuff, but here's a pic of me from when I was 5 months old in the bathtub and one from now- you can really see my hair is growing- my mom can no longer say I'm still bald :)

I loved bath time and I think this was just good camera timing to catch my tongue out


I still really love bath time- but now I know where my tongue is now- if you ask me- I'll show you :)

I'm 1 Year Old!!

For my 1st Birthday Mom & Dad got me a double myringotomy. Yep that's right tubes placed in both my ears (what a present Mom & Dad). I think the worst part of it all was them waking me up at 6:00 am (do you know that I sleep until 9:ooam). In the long run I know they are looking out for little old me. I've had way to many ear infections over my long life and now hopefully I won't have any more. So here are some pictures to walk you thru my day.

I handled this part like a little man, but the nurses said when I woke up I was a little upset (I blame the anesthesia), but as soon as I saw Mom & Dad I was perfect!


Dressed and ready to go home, man those drugs sure are making me tired.


I got home and took a good nap, then Mom and I played with all my new toy- it was so much fun! I don't even remember a thing.

Ball Pit Fun

I got a ball pit for my Bday (Thanks Auntie Kayla and the Swart Family) and WOW these things are super fun. Mine is a car so I can drive it around the living room (ok mom or dad pull me-but I pretend). There is a bunch of balls in it to dive right into and also throw out at mom and dad. My 1st Bday Party

WOW I can't believe that I'm almost 1 year old!!! (I will be on Tuesday) I got to have a HUGE Birthday party on Sunday at my house- it was super fun- lots of people (big ones and little ones). We had so much yummy food, tons of cake, (But I'm the only one that got to did into the cake hands and face first), and tons of presents. It was like Christmas in here!! So first I have to say Thank You Thank You Thank You to everyone who came, saw, ate, thought of me, all of the above- it means so much to all of us. Here are some pics of the fun. Enjoy! We start off with a couple random pics (mom's choice) these were my party plates- mom wants you to see them b/c she was so super happy with how my cakes turned out. She gave the cake lady this plate and.... Here they are!!! Pretty amazing... huh This was the littlest person at my party- Emory!!! It was the first time I got to meet her- she didn't seem very interested in me- I think her daddy was sitting off to the side of her. Did someone say cake...I'm coming Let's Party!! I only look nervous b/c everyone was singing at me and I din't know what that meant. At first everyone thought I was like my mom and didn't want to get dirty But then I tasted the yummy frosting This is pure heaven Can't stop now Mom says I look like a smurf- I have no idea- not sure the green and blue frosting was such a good idea....oh well- it tastes delicious

Then I got all cleaned up so I could open presents. Daddy and Sierra helped me with this since there were so many and I'm easily distracted. End of the night I got my first kiss from a girl (moms and women don't count ladies) Avery is my newest girlfriend. Dad taught me to kiss with my tongue so I went all in and then I got her chin.

My Inflatable Bouncer

Mom let me play in my inflatable bouncer today (the day before my bday party) and I just love that thing. I can jump and wrestle all I want and not get hurt- It's super fun!!! Then just when I thought it couldn't get any better, mom threw in a bunch of little balls to bounce around with me- what a blast- you guys should come over sometime and try it out.
