South Hampton Park

Today Mommy & Daddy took me to the park in our subdivision. I/we thought we were going to have a great time and get to play on all the toys- none of us had been there before, so when we got there we found out the park is meant for older kids.....nothing for little people like me to play on. I was pretty bummed. So I didn't get to do very much- mom took me down the slide and let me climb on a few things. Here's a few pics- Then of course after my nap mom decided to bombard me with the flashing of the camera- so more random pics of me.

Playtime

As everyone knows I love to play WWF wrestling with myself in my crib- well mom caught me and snapped a couple of pics. Also now that I'm pulling myself up to everything possible mom took some pics of me playing with my leapfrog table- I love it- I can now work all the functions on it-YEA! Ok well I'm pretty proud of myself. Hope you enjoy the pics.

I try to throw myself over, but I haven't got that one down yet.

Pulling up on everything

So I just learned yesterday how to pull myself up- and now I'm a professional at it. This is what mom walked in on after nap time- I earned another dropping of my mattress real quick.
I now can pull myself up onto the coffee table, couch, chair, baby gate, and in my bed of course. I no longer interested with playing with my toys- I would rather practice pulling up on things.

I can pull myself up!

I can do it!! I really feel like a big boy now- this one time only took me 15 minutes of huffing and puffing and falling on my head multiple times just to pull myself up to the table - it was awesome! Later that night I did it tons of times for my daddy :)

Just a Saturday

Mom & I were just hanging out on Saturday, playing as usual- I love these days (when she's not working....hint hint daddy) So anyway mom of course had the camera out was snapping away- so here are few pics of one of my new achievement- pulling myself up - so far onto my knees, but it counts. Also I still love love love to go outside and swing- so some pics of that of course.


I know I know- I'm super cute- sometimes I like to pose for mom, but most of the time- I'm on the go- ya know I've got people to see and places to go.


I decided to show mom that I can pull myself up to my toy box

And I'm up- It didn't last very long- b/c once I started reaching for toys I lost my balance, but at least I can do it all on my own now.



But I did manage to grab a football on the way down- so it was all worth it.

I'm getting pretty tired, it must be close to nap time


Alright - while we were in the backyard mom and I were admiring Dad's pride and joy (besides me of course) his mini garden. His tomato plant is as big as mom- it's crazy! It has tons of green tomato's on it. Next to it he has a green pepper plant with two peppers on it (you have to look hard it's getting covered by the huge tomato plant) and then in the pot are jalapenos- so far only one has grown.



Here's the Green Pepper plant- hopefully this one will last and the weed eater won't get it.


Here's Dad's jalapeno plants- if you know my dad- he was kind of hoping for more hot peppers- maybe they're just late bloomers.


Then when Daddy got home we were having guy night-so he wanted to style my hair (the little bit that I have)



Here's the results- we were pretty happy!

Giggling boy

Daddy likes to tickle me when he gets me ready for bed- this time mom got to catch a little piece of it on video. They just love to hear me laugh :)

Deanna Rose Farm

Today Mommy & I went to the Deanna Rose Farm (A mini petting Zoo). I had fun seeing all the different kinds of animals- it was just like the Old McDonald had a farm song. I got to see horse, goats, chickens, cows, pigs, birds, turtles, & rabbits. The only ones I could pet were the goats- there was a baby goat that was just my size- he was cute!

There was a my size bench for me to sit on to watch the water fall


Mom wanted to get me to smell the flowers, but I'm a boy mom- I don't care about flowers.


A Horse says "Neigh"


A Pig says "Oink"


A Goat says.....OK I don't know what a goat says I'm only 8 months old give some credit


Here's the baby goats- the little white one is just my size


At the end- Mom & I sat in a swing for a bit- I loved it!

More Bath Time

I'm telling you Bath time is the best time EVER! If you don't like to take baths you should come to my house and try it b/c it is so much fun I don't ever like to get of out the tub, sometimes Patch even wants to get in with me.

Visit to Salina

Mommy and I went to Salina for a visit- it was alot of fun. I got to see Grandma and Grandpa, and all my cousins again. They just love me to death- it's pretty great!
If I ever get mad at mom and dad- I know where to go.



We went to the park and had sooo much fun.

There was a pond at the park with a fountain in the middle and ducks everywhere- I liked the fountain alot.



I'm checking out the ducks with her babies- If you look hard you can see them thru the slats.



Then we got to go swing....and man do I love to swing- I could have stayed there all day.



But it was hot and the sun was pounding right down on me- so mom put a hat on me so I could relax and enjoy it for a little bit longer.



This was my first time ever going down a slide- I wasn't to impressed after loving the swing so much.



One more time hanging out with the girls- they just can't get enough of me- they were kissing me all the time, luckily I have now learned how to kiss- except my kisses involve alot of slobber- they didn't seem to mind.

My first word!

I said my first word- it was Mama!
Mommy was so so excited- now I say it all the time. Daddy was a little upset I didn't say Dada first, but that's the next word I'm working on.

Dog Park

Today was my first time going to the dog park- I really wasn't sure what a "dog park" was, but I was ready to find out. It was awesome- my doggies loved to run and play with the other dogs. I have never seen so many dogs in my life (I know I'm only 8 months old). There were little tiny ones and BIG ones that would be like a pony for me.



Here we go walking the trails down to the dog park.....I just couldn't wait to see all the toys that this park would have.



What this is the park....there's NO toys- what am I supposed to play with?



Alright I guess this place is ok- Patch sure loves it!



Cali didn't go to far away from us, but she liked to play with the other dogs too.
Now I get it- A "dog park" is a place for the dogs to play, not me- I have to quit thinking about myself all the time.
