My Early 1st Bday Party

When we went to Salina my Grandma and Papa had planned an early Birthday party for me- Yeah!!! I was pretty excited- more time to see my family and play with them. Everybody came over to my Grandparents house on Sunday afternoon to celebrate with me- we played and played and then had some cake and ice cream- it was my first time (man was it gooood) I had a little bit of a sugar high afterwards :) Here are pics of all the fun!

Mom & I before my big party.

I love to swing.

My cousin Leighton kept building my blocks up just so I could knock them down- he rocks!

Then he even let me play WWF wresting with him- it was awesome!

This is Annabell telling us how old I'm going to be on Nov 10th

I'm ready to dig into my presents

Where did my bow go???

It was time to open presents and I was excited- I got a stuffed animal and I loved it so much I thought I would give it a kiss.

Then I decided to throw a fit- I was over opening presents- I was ready to move onto the next thing (cake)

I wasn't quite sure what to think- everyone was singing a song at me that I had never heard before- so I was just taking it in (maybe trying to cover my ears a little :) ).

They put cake in front of me and said to go at it...

I tasted the frosting and instantly knew I wanted more-

Grandma to the rescue- she picked up my piece of cake for me so I could take a bite-
it was amazing!

After that I knew what I was doing.

After a clothing change- We went outside so I could play with one of my new toys- a walker- I can do it, but it can get going a little to fast for me. I'll catch up don't you worry.

I can even talk and walk at the same time.
What a Great day with family- Thank you so much Grandma & Papa- I Love You!

Family HayRack Ride

I got to go back to Salina this weekend and go to my first Hayrack Ride- it was alot of fun- so many people! First off- I love love love to be outside so that was the best! It was a little chilly, but mom had me all wrapped up warm on the ride (I almost fell asleep). Then when we got back I got to help my Papa make hotdogs for everyone (except not me- I ate everything else of course). That was the first time I had ever seen a BIG fire! It was pretty mesmerizing. Then we got to sit down in a big barn and eat tons of food and hang out with tons of family- so much fun! Everybody loved me- can you blame them :)

Just hanging out with Grandma watching the big kids play football.

And mom of course getting all up in my face

Hanging out with my Uncle Tim- he has 3 little girls so he enjoys having a little guy time.

On the Hayrack ride- Elizabeth, Uncle Tim, Kaylee, Aunt Jenni, Annabell, Mommy, & Me

Mommy, Me, & Kaylee on the Ride- I was nice and warm all bundled up.

Here's me helping my Papa hold the stick to cook the hotdogs- what would he do without me :)

Here's me and my cousin Kathy- I love her tons- she's the best- I found her nose- I'm really good at that game.

I told you I love her tons- I think I gave her about 50 kisses- and I don't normally just give those away.

My Papa and Grandma- I love them so very much!!

I'm 11 months old today!

Mom was my personal paparazzi today (not that it's really different from any other day), but she really can't believe I'm 11 months old. She still says I'm her baby- but I say I'm a BIG boy! Here are some (OK maybe alot) of pics from my day.

So advanced for my age

We went outside for a bit, but it was super cold, so that didn't last for long

Mom wanted me to look at her, but I was more entertained by my Elmo remote control(Thanks again Mayra)

Mom loved this picture- b/c I wanted to get right up off the step and start walking- I'm not actually walking yet, but I'm super close! (any day now)

Alright pink nose means it's time to go inside.

I love love love to climb stairs- it really makes me feel like a big boy, but I haven't conquered going down yet so I don't have free run of the house yet.

Just making sure you're still back there

Yeah made it all the way to the top!!

My other new favorite thing to do is help mom and dad in the kitchen (by help I mean pull everything I can out onto the floor)

What?? Am I doing something wrong....

After playing it was time to eat- today I got to try blueberries for the first time (I love to eat- I always get excited when I get in my high chair)

OK first bite was a little rough, but I loved them- bring on the berries!

Me & My Daddy just hanging out watching some football

Then Patch wanted to join in on some fun- he was trying to lick me in the face

Then I thought it would be cool to try on Daddy's hat

Yep it definitely fits

Now how do you get this thing off???

Playing with Pumpkins

Mom thought I would enjoy seeing pumpkins, but boy was she wrong. I wasn't sure about them at all- I did cry. Here are a few pics (when I wasn't crying)

Strike a pose

These little ones are just my size

Flashback

Mom said she would never say "they grow up so fast," but she catches herself doing it all the time. I guess I'm growing up to quickly for her. Here are a couple old pics nad a new one of me :)

Precious, sweet, innocent- I know. I was only a couple weeks old here.

My ornery side is starting to come out- I started sucking my thumb when I was about 3 months old. (Daddy did it, so I thought I needed to do it too)

At 10 1/2 months I'm still precious, but not so sweet and innocent all the time.

My Wagon

Grandma Lovett was here to visit this week and she knew that I really wanted a wagon for my Birthday, so she got me one!! (I have her wrapped around my little fingers...just like mom and dad). A Birthday present early...this is the best! Daddy put it together for me, then mom and I went out to play in it today- so I wanted to share a couple of pics. It was really really windy outside today- so if I look scared in any of the pics it's b/c of the wind- not b/c of my wagon- I love it!!

Check out my new ride- Come on over girls- I have room for one more....

This wind is brutal- Good thing I'm strapped in this wagon or I might just blow out.

Ahhh- This is the life.

After playing outside- the next thing on my agenda is storytime- I also love love to read- OK I can't read yet, but I love being read to.

I like to look at pictures and turn the pages.

Just chewing on some wood- I'm teething ok
