Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve we spent the day and night with my Grandma and Grandpa Lovett (they came to my house). We played, ate, opened some presents, and then played with them- just had a great time! Here are some pics.

This is my Daddys giant inflatable snowman- so before it snowed we went outside to see where I stood up to on him. I guess I'm not that big.

My Grandma and I

Grandma and Grandpa know how much I love to watch Baby Einstein, so they got me my very own rocking chair to sit in to watch my show. And it's a KU rocking chair- it can't get any better than this!

Everybody knows to leave me alone when I'm watching my show.

Monkey Bizness

Today Mom and I had a playdate with The Swarts. We went to Monkey bizness- It's alot of fun- and they have a special area for little tykes like me. We had alot of fun and were all some very tired toddlers when we were done.

Playing peek-a-boo

My best buds- "The Twins" Riley and Hayley

Hayley- what a pretty girl.

Me trying to show off my climbing this toy, but I didn't make it any further than this.

Jingle Bell Run

Tonight I got to go on my first of many Jingle Bell Runs- It was Mom, Dad, Aunt Marci, Uncle Neal, and me. It's hosted by Red Dog Days in Lawrence- it's to help raise money for the Boys and Girls Club, The Ballard Center, and The Lawrence Humane Society. We didn't get very many pictures, but I did make in on the channel 6 news!! (so did Dad and Uncle Neal- sorry Mom & Aunt Marci) So you have to check it out. It's only for a second, but I think it's pretty amazing...I mean I'm only 1!!!

You have to copy and paste the link in order to view the little video- thanks for checking me out.

After the run we went to The Eldridge Hotel where they had a band playing all my favorite Christmas songs- so I danced my little heart out.

New Friends

Today Mom and I got to meet my new little friend, Joshua. He's Mommys good friend Elizabeths baby- he's only 6 weeks old, that's not very old b/c I'm, well, I'm alot of weeks old. He's very cute, he was practicing smiling while we were there. He didn't want to play with me much, I like to explore and he like to sit back and take it all in.

Meet Joshua Ryan Willette

Joshua and his Mommy (us boys- we love our mommys)

I just wanted to be down playing so this only lasted for about 30 seconds- I like to run around people :)

Joshua being adorable

There's that smile he had been practicing on

Santa

What's Santa say......Ho Ho Ho.
I'm getting pretty good at saying this, so I guess Mom & Dad thought that it was time for me to go visit Santa. I loved loved loved being about 15 feet away from him and looking at him and the other children, BUT when it was my turn to go and sit on his lap- it was a different story. I had no idea what was going on at first- Dad backed me into Santa and placed me on his lap- I was great for about 15 seconds until I turned around and realized that I was sitting on his lap (see photos below).

At the gates waiting to go see Santa

I'm ready!

I'm good

Oh NO- who is this???

Help me !

Christmas Lights

WOW is all I have to say. Tonight Mom, Dad, & I went to Christmas in the Park (at Longview Lake if anyone is wondering) to look at Christmas Lights- It was AMAZING!!! If you have never been- I recommend you go. I got to sit up front on Mommys lap and look at all the lights- we were driving, but only going about 5 mph. You have to go very slow to actually get to see all the lights, there are so many (and lots of cool animated ones). Only a couple of pics turned out, but I wanted to be sure to tell everyone what a great time I had.

We had to wait for a while for the Park to open so Daddy let me drive- OK the car wasn't moving , but I can pretend can't I.

OOh I think we're moving- let's go.

So again the pics didn't turn out (maybe b/c we were going tooo fast......5mph)anyway this was the entrance to get into the park. It's snowmen on the right and a BIG wreath entrance

Me enjoying it all- I was singing and bouncing on Mommys lap- I really really enjoyed it.

Here's some sleders that climb the side of the mountain and then sled down.

And a Choo Choo Train. There really was so much to look at that we couldn't have taken pictures of it all, plus our pics weren't turning out....Oh well. Hope you all can go and see it too. Merry Xmas!
