Pumpkin Patch

WOW The Pumpkin Patch was so much fun(I think Mom & Dad had a great time too)- Everyone has to go!!! We went to Johnson Farms Pumkin Patch. OK so this blog is probably going to be long b/c there are so many fun pics (mom took something like 150 pics- she went crazy) but it was b/c I was having so much fun. So I'll just explain each pic as we go- enjoy!

We're at the Pumpkin Patch and I'm ready to play

There was a maze that was just my size that I got to run in (and get lost in) thank goodness Mom & Dad were tall enough to see over the maze to find me :)

They also had a hay bale maze that I thought was really cool- both Mom & Dad ran thru this with me

Then there was this HUGE barn just filled up to the top with hay just for us kiddos (& Mom) to climb on and play with....so cool.

After all the playing we got to go see all the animals. First stop baby chicks. Do you see them- I'm pointing at them- they do kind of mix in with the hay.

You got to be in the cage with the babies, but when they got tired of you, they just went in their house- I was trying to find them, but they didn't want to come out.

Checked the other side too- nope they didn't want to play anymore- so we moved on to the next animal.

This Horse- He would "Neigh" really loud and scare me a little and then I would "neigh" back- we played for a bit, then on to the next animal.

Goats- and yes that's a real goat on the Golden Goat Bridge, Dad wondered if goats were smart enough to figure out how to get down.......

Now off to the Hay rack ride pulled by a tractor to take us to the pumpkin patch

Me with mom- I look a little distracted b/c behind Dad (taking the pic) is a dinosaur eating the broken pumpkins- crazy!

Now we're off to get our own pumpkin (I started clapping for the guy driving the tractor-he liked me)

So if was up to me we would have ended up with alot of pumpkins, gourds, and other things that grew out in the pumpkin patch- so here are some pics of the ones I liked.
This was my first pick.

And we have a winner!
Dad cutting my pumpkin off the vine- Yeah!

I told Dad I would carry it back

On the way back to the farm

I'm making an Elmo pumpkin this year(everyone who knows me-know I LOVE Elmo)

So here's my final Elmo Pumpkin- I love it and I had such a great day- hope you all enjoy the kazillion pics

KC Zoo

Today Mom & I went to the KC Zoo- man is there alot of walking...well not for me, but for Mom. (She says it was a good workout- pushing me in the stroller and all)
I had a good time bc I did get to see some big animals some of the smaller ones I either couldn't see or they were napping. Here's some pics we took along the way.

The first thing you see right when you walk in is the Polar Bear- he was really cool. Getting in and out of the water and swimming all over- he only scared me when he came right up against the glass to push off (he was just really big)

Here- he just jumped in after a fish one of the trainers thru in the water for him.

Then I saw some lions- I love to make the noises they make :)- They are back behind me in this pic (look hard)

Next were Zebras and Giraffes- I had just seen Zebras at the circus so I kind of knew what they were- and I try really hard to say giraffe (I can't say the "g" yet- mom thinks it's cute)

Ostrich's - that's my animal at pre-school. YEAH!

Monkeys- there were a bunch of them running around- I learned how to say hee hee whoo whoo- it's fun! One of the monkeys is a baby.

Hippos- there 2 HUGE ones in this water- they kept bumping into each other.

I love elephants, this is the only one that I could kiss :)

Finishing with a picnic lunch with mom, what a great day!

Preschool Update

I now am really enjoying Preschool- I still do not like it when Mom leaves me, but then I start to play with my friends and my teachers and I have a great day. We read books, play inside and outside, do bubbles and much more- and I'm still working on saying my animal....the ostrich. I'll get it one of these days.

Sesame Street Live

My Dream came true! I love Elmo to death- I probably say his name AT LEAST 100 times a day. Mom and Dad surprised me by taking me to Sesame Street Live.
Ok we'll start with the drive there- I was wearing my one and only Elmo T-shirt and watching an elmo movie while we were taking our 1 hour and 15 minute drive to get to the show. Mom was driving and Dad was resting. I was starting to cough a little and mom told dad to pay close attention to me bc something wasn't right. and then just a few seconds later- I was throwing up everywhere-yuck. Dad tried to catch it with a sweatshirt, but missed alot of it. So Mom pulled over quickly, jumped over the drivers seat to my rescue. Luckily we werent to far from Grandma Weigels house- so we went there to wash up and try to clean out the carseat. I had to get naked (bye bye Elmo shirt) and change into spare clothes. Then we were off again.
Once we got to the Expocenter as soon as we walked into the door I saw this big stand with a bunch of Elmo stuff- I ran for it! Apparently you are supposed to wait in line, but I just ran right up to the front to see all the Elmo stuff- I was soooo excited- I had no idea that I was still going to get to see Elmo on top of all of these toys. So Mom & Dad bought me a t-shirt since I puked all over mine.
Then we went into the show and it was the most amazing thing I have ever seen- Elmo, Big Bird and all their friends were right there in front of me- I loved it!!!
I watched intensely, laughed, clapped, and danced. Best day ever!! Here some Pics- Enjoy. Thanks Mom & Dad

Getting cleaned up and into spare clothes

I never been so happy- I'll take one of each please!

Look it's Elmo!

Once the show started- this is how I looked the whole show- I think mom has about 50 pictures of the same look- I was focused. (notice I did get a new Elmo t-shirt- I was super excited!)

I did clap a few times

The Circus

Today Mom & I had another one of our dates (Daddy was out of town)- we went to the Barnum and Bailey Circus. It was awesome! I don't know if I can say which part was my favorite, but I really did love the elephants and the dogs that do silly tricks, like go down slides, jump thru hoops, and jump over their trainers. They had all kinds of cool things going on all the time- people flying in the air, clowns running around, horses, zebras, tigers and much more. We were sitting in the 2nd row so I definitely didn't miss a thing! But you guys will NEVER believe this...... Mom forgot her camera! I know...right...who is she? I guess we were in such a rush to make it to the Circus we left without grabbing it. Anyway after the Circus we went to Fritz Restaurant to have some lunch- if you haven't been there-it's this little place where you order you own food on a telephone at your booth and a train delivers it to your booth when it's ready. I loved watching the trains take all the people their food. Then it was time to go home and take a nap. Thanks Mom for such a wonderful day! Love you

First Day of Preschool

OK it's a pre pre pre school at this great church by our house, but it still counts as my first day of preschool. Mom and Dad tried to get me all prepped up the night before, and then of course a mini photoshoot on the morning of. When we got there I loved walking into the room with Mom and seeing all kinds of new toys to play with, but when I realized she was leaving me with people I didnt know I was not a happy camper- the tears started coming. I got better as time went on, but about an hour into it, the crying started back up. Today being the first day for all of us little youngsters, we were only there for a couple of hours and our mommies were just in the chapel learning all about our class. When Mom came to pick me I wasn't crying at that exact moment, but when I saw her- I started bawling so hard I could barely breath. Not sure what came over me I was just so excited to see her and glad that she didn't leave me forever :)Anyway here are a few pics from before school.

The night before getting ready for school tomorrow- did you guys notice that I like Elmo??

Here I am- almost 22 months old- ready for my first day of preschool

Checking my backpack to make sure Mom didn't forget anything

Well it looks like she forgot to pack my favorite Elmo movie, so I'll just put that right in here.

My dogs are excited for me too!

Mom just thought I looked like such a big boy here, so she had to put this one in here (don't pay any attention to the dead yard)
