Little Monkey Bizness

After my shots at the Doctor my legs were pretty sore, so Mom and Dad took me to Little Monkey Bizness. It's pretty much like to big one, just especially for little peeps like me:) Everything was just my size- I had so much fun climbing around and going up and down slides.......hint hint Mom and Dad I thin I need a slide/swingset in the back yard.

Just having fun!

Dad had fun too

I think I climbed up and went down the slide at least 50 times, I really worked out my legs

I'm 18 months

Today I went to the doctor for my 18 month well baby/child visit- I had to get shots...yuck, but I also got to see how big I am. The results are in: I am a whopping 25 pounds which puts me in the 40th percentile (which I don't understand b/c I'm a big boy!) and I'm 34 1/2 inches tall which is over the 95th percentile which sounds right....I get my height from my mom :)
I seem to be developing right according to the doc, except he says I need to work on talking- mom and dad say I talk all the time, but I guess I have to speak english not my own language. Right now the only words that I say without promting are Mom, Daddy, and mmmmm(that's for anything I put in my mouth) :)
I can say Moo, Roar, Quack, and Bye bye when asked too.

Nathan's Bday

It's my Best Buddy's Birthday!! We went to Nathan's house for his 2nd Birthday Party today, it was a lot of fun! We played with all his toys (old and new) and I got to have a chocolate covered marshmellow- yep that's right I got a special sugary treat :). Mom was having fruit dipped into the chocolate fountain so I thought I deserved something- so her and Dad let me have one and it was delicious!

Happy Birthday Nathan! He got a sucker, I got a carrot

Daddy played pretend Kitchen with me- I think I have him wrapped around all my little fingers :) (who would have ever thought Justin Weigel playing pretend kitchen)
Best Daddy Ever!

Nathan was really good at blowing these things

I was not

I got so excited for Nathan to open his presents- I tripped on my own feet and fell and hit the coffee table and got a BIG ouchy- don't worry I was just fine- give me some fake food to play with and I'm all good ;)

And to top it all off Nathan gave me one of the huge balls to take home- it was great!

Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all those Awesome Mommies out there! So my Mommy loves it when I do new things for her, so for Mother's Day I decided (or it was decided for me) that I was going to be sick and throw up for the first time ever- all just for her- Hope you liked it Mom! So needless to say it didn't make the best Mother's Day, but it will be one she will never forget. And I have plenty more to make up for it. Sorry no pics for this blog ;)

An ER visit

Don't worry everybody- I'm OK. At the end of our little adventure at the Arboretum I started crying, it was my nap time so mom and dad thought I was just tired b/c nothing had happened to me. Well Mom took me home and was trying to console me- I wasn't having any part of it. She stripped me naked to see what was wrong and noticed that I wasn't moving my right arm at all and if she touched it I would cry. So she called Dad and had him come back home and check me out too b/c she was so upset that I was so upset. After Dad came home- I still wasn't wanting to move my arm- so off to the ER we went. This incident happened around 3:00 and by 6:00 (still in the ER waiting room) I started to move my arm again- it's amazing :)
No really- what the docs said was that I pulled a ligament over my radius bone (or dislocated my elbow joint) that normally requires a doctor to pop it back in place, but I somehow managed to do it myself. Everybody was happy and I could move my arm again, but I guess now I am more likely for this to happen again.

Arboretum

Today was Beautiful! Mom, Dad, and I went to the Arboretum and Botanical Gardens right here close to my house- who knew there was such a pretty place right near by. Anyway I got to see a lot of very pretty flowers (I mean A LOT), but I also just got to run free and be a boy- play in the dirt and get sweaty. I had a blast, but every once in a while I had to hop in the stroller or have Daddy carry me b/c my little legs were just getting to tired. Here's some pics from our little adventure- Enjoy!

I got to do a little rock climbing

Then off to see the waterfalls

I think Mom said snack time- come on let's go eat!

Just chillin in my tree-stump chair eating my snack- yep I'm the king here!

Then it was playtime in the rocks with trucks and tractors, but all I needed was part of my easter egg to fill with rocks and "shaky shaky" =Happy Cam

Me and my Mommy

If I'm hot- Dad's got to be hot in his pants and long sleeved shirt- oh the things he'll do for me :)

Cheese- check out my BIG blues

I'm pooped- is it time to go?
